JOINT COMMISSION ACCREDITATION
Southwestern Virginia Mental Health Institute has been awarded accreditation from the Joint Commission for the period of 2005-2008.

To earn an maintain The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval, an organization must undergo an on-site survey by a Joint Commission survey team at least every three years.
